Unit 2 Fabrication PRB Oil Pump Adapter for RRC/RRB Pans

These weld on adapters are to correct the pickup depth when using a PRB oil pump on a RRB/RRC oil pan / 8th Generation Honda civic.

When building a 8th gen civic you really don't have the option of using any other oil pan as the rear engine mount, mounts to the pan itself.  Unfortunately this leaves you with a oil pan that is designed for the deeper balance shaft oil pump (K20z3 Pump/RBC)  or the limited RRC Oil Pump. 

This is why its common to find PRB pumps installed on these setups. they are a easy to source inexpensive solution. The only problem is the pickup placement is made for the shallower k series pans. This increases the pickup to pan distance substantially, increasing the chance of early oil starvation. 

Unit 2 Fabrication's simple adapter welds to the pickup correcting the height of the PRB pump. 

If you are going to have a shop weld this on for you. we recommend disassembling the pump before welding it to the pickup. Back purging is also recommend but not required.  Always give the pump and pickup a thorough cleaning before reassembly. Lubricate all moving parts with new motor oil.
