The unique design not only significantly reduces the overall weight but also ensures minimal impact on the strength and rigidity of the product. F7 LCAs are considered to be among the lightest available in the market. 

Function7 LCA uses USA-sourced 6061-T6 grade aluminum. This material was carefully chosen for its malleable properties and is the preferred material used on many high-end racing wheels for its performance characteristics during an impact. The polyurethane bushings allow minimal deflection and increased durability over rubber bushings. The billet aluminum bushing pins have also been re-engineered; grooves are now cut in for better lubricant retention, which exponentially increases the service life of the bushings.
